The Office of the Dean of Student Life is responsible for the oversight of College Health Services, Counseling, Event Management, First Year Experience, Food Services, Residence Life, Student Developement, Student Discipline, Student Life Centers, Student Life Programming and Student Organizations.

Mission

The Office of the Dean of Student Life exists to provide support to students through services, programs and facilities that enhance the quality of the Butler experience for students. The Office of the Dean of Student Life promotes co-curricular student involvement and serves as an advocate for the needs of the students that align with the Butler Learning PACT and the mission of the institution.

Dear Grizzlies,

Welcome to Student Life at Butler Community College. I would like to tell you how happy we are to have you as a part of our Grizzly family. At Butler we believe that every person is an integral part of the learning experience, both in and out of the classroom. We all as individuals are great contributors to the college culture that exists on our campuses and I encourage you to become as academically and socially engaged as possible in the great opportunities that Butler Community College provides for you.

Student Life is your connection to campus services and resources. Designed to assist, support and enhance your Butler experience, we value the opportunity to play an active role in your personal growth and development through the educational opportunities that exist at Butler for you.

Student Life at Butler allows you to become engaged through student organizations, student activities, student life programs and a number of other educational programs and services all designed to provide a fun, exciting and alternative educational experience outside the classroom.
