Hello!

Welcome to Butler Community College and welcome to the first year of your college experience! It is our privilege to help you identify the many ways in which you can be successful both personally and academically during your first year of college and beyond.

We have set up some programs to help you develop a good foundation for learning. Your First-Year Experience may include Welcome Week, Orientation, our Student Connect mentoring program, and much more. Butler Community College is committed to your continued success throughout your time with us. Our mentoring programs help students connect with faculty, staff, and current students. It is very important for students to have access to leadership and involvement opportunities while they are a part of the Grizzly family.

The Grizzly family includes your family as well. They are an important part of your transition to college. The FYE office wants those extended family members to feel welcomed and included in the Butler community. We provide families with the opportunity to receive email updates on events at Butler, newsletters, open communication with our office, a Parent and Family Weekend, and opportunities at welcome week orientation.
