Health Image

  • Administer routine immunizations(vaccinations) and TB screening options for students and staff are available at the Butler County Health Department
  • Administer directly observed therapy to students, in conjunction with Sedgwick Co. Health Department. and Butler Co. Health Department.
  • Diagnose, treat and care for illnesses and injuries.
  • Provide info on weight control and habit control.
  • Provide an information on a wide range of health and wellness topics.
  • Provide regular office hours each week for nurse, nurse practitioner and/or physician. Appointments preferred; walk-ins welcome, however wait time could be greater.
  • Provide student nurses a facility to utilize health screenings, teaching, assessing clients, and administering immunizations under the supervision of a nursing instructor.
  • Provide a small inventory of prescription and over the counter medications that the student may purchase at a reduced rate.
  • Provide healthcare services for students and staff with minimal fees.
  • Provide immunization clinic at the beginning of each semester
  • Provide laboratory tests at reduced rates. Strep A., pregnancy, urinalysis, and glucose tests. (Other tests are available in conjunction with Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital.)
  • Offer Flu shots in the Fall
