Dear Butler Student,

We are excited to welcome you and congratulate you on your decision to attend Butler Community College. As a student at Butler you are qualified to receive health services through the College Health Services. If you choose to purchase the health insurance offered by Butler Community College, most of your health care will be paid for if you come to College Health Services, and we will bill the insurance for you. The only out of pocket expense you may be responsible for is for over-the-counter medications (like cough syrup), immunizations, or a physical.

If you choose not to purchase the health insurance you may still take advantage of the healthcare services, but you currently will pay for the charge.currently an office visit fee is $5.00, lab tests are $15.00, prescription medications range from $5.00 to $20.00, and over-the-counter medications are $2.00. We accept credit cards, debit cards, checks, and cash.

Butler College Health Service has two locations for your convenience:
• The El Dorado office is located in the West Dorm, Building 1100, room 162.

• The Andover office is located in the 5000 building on E. 13th in room 5112N.

If you are a new student at Butler and have never been seen before at College Health Service you may shorten your wait time by downloading the forms provided, completing them, and bringing them to your first appointment. You may call for an appointment or we also take walk-ins, but the wait time will be longer.
