What does the College Provide?

Student rooms are furnished with a mattress (Please note: mattress size is extra long, twin), chest-of-drawers, closet, desk, chair, lamp and small refrigerator. Students are expected to furnish their own towels, linens, pillow, blankets, or any additional accessories that they wish to have. They may also have small microwave ovens in their rooms. Fire retardant rugs are permitted.

May I Choose My Roommate?

The Residence Life Department, whenever possible, attempts to honor mutual roommate requests which are noted on the student housing application and/or housing contract. Roommate requests must be mutually agreed upon by the parties involved.

Do the Residence Halls have Guest Hours?

Guest hours are as follows for all Residence Halls.

Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - midnight
Friday and Saturday 7:00am - 1:00 a.m.

When and where are meals served?

All meals are served in the Student Union Cafeteria. The menu provides for a proper diet as well as a variety of main dishes and entrees.

Cafeteria Hours:

Friday night through Sunday
Brunch Noon-1:00 p.m.
Supper 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday
Breakfast (Hot) 7:15 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Continental Breakfast 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Monday through Thursday
Supper 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

All resident hall students, except those in the apartments, are required to be on the meal plan. The meal plan consists of 19 meals per week. Three meals Monday through Friday and two meals on Saturday and Sunday.

Special dinners include a Steak Night served once each week, Mexican Fiesta dinners, Italian dinners and Pizza Night. These specials are included in the price of a meal contract. Special required diets are also offered. Students never walk away hungry with access to unlimited seconds on entrees, a buffet-style salad bar, soup kettle and an ice cream bar.
