About Student Government
Mission statement:
To provide students with opportunities and experiences and to develop leadership skills on a personal, group, and community level. The program will develop well-rounded leaders through their engagement in FIVE leadership components:Â Involvement, Service Learning, Cultural Awareness, Leadership Growth and Personal Growth.
Butler is proud of its comprehensive student life experiences! Students can engage in a variety of Butler groups ranging from athletics or livestock judging to serving as an SGA senator or a member in one of Butler's student organizations. It's a great way to get connected! The Butler SGA serves as the official voice of the student body and functions as a channel of communication with the faculty, staff and administration of the college. Their mission is to represent the interests of students by:
