What is a Welcome Week Student Mentor?

A returning Butler student whose primary role during Welcome Week Orientation is to support new students in hopes of welcoming them into the Butler family, offering insight based on their own freshman experience, and providing continual support throughout their duration at Butler Community College.

Welcome Week Orientation Student Mentors assist in providing social engagement while upholding the reputation and integrity of Butler Community College. These positions are very rewarding and are opportunities to touch many lives.

Who are the Welcome Week Orientation Student Mentors?

Student Mentors are a variety of student leaders; such as Student Senators, Resident Assistants, Grizzly Ambassadors, MVP's, athletes, cheerleaders, and many other students from all walks of life who want to make sure new students get started off on the right foot
